Whew

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind. I finally got my book edited and formatted and uploaded to amazon. I ordered a proof copy and then I noticed some errors. So I checked it again, sitting in my family room, Starbucks, my office, book and pen in hand, trying to perfect it. I had a deadline. Last week, it was done and all I had to do was fix it on the computer copy. I had until the 11th. But, also at this time, I had a classroom to setup and a wedding to get to so I scrambled, trying to fit everything in before I left. Wednesday came and I had gotten my classroom ready but I still had about half of the book to transfer onto the computer. So, at 230 in the morning, I saved my manuscript to my flash drive and was able to take it with me and finish it at the airport.

We had a wonderful time with my family at the wedding and I am so glad we were able to go, despite all the craziness I created by my choice of publishing date. Through it all, I was able to publish my book by the deadline and get ready for the beginning of school. I am so grateful to all of your for your support as I have gotten this first book to completion. I am so excited for you to read it!
